In 2018, Hirschi worked in the mountains of Nepal in a small village where they built a school and taught English classes. The community welcomed visitors with marigolds and dancing. During this experience, members of Hirschi learned that through devastation like the massive earthquake in 2015, those wolves in sheep’s clothing appeared, and they learned the horror of human trafficking and how they were not only rebuilding from the earthquake but from the destruction of human trafficking. This experience would later lead to Hirschi’s involvement with organizations such as O.U.R and Libertas International.
