Choice Humanitarian

Choice Humanitarian supports the efforts of people around the world to reduce global poverty and build self-reliant, resilient communities. Hirschi was introduced to Choice Humanitarian when Crystal Hirschi and her son, Christian Hirschi, worked in a small village in Bolivia in 2016. This was a life-changing experience that created a partnership between Hirschi and Choice Humanitarian.

Sole Hope

Sole Hope was founded in 2010 with the purpose and commitment to fighting foot diseases in East Africa. By educating communities, providing medical aid, creating jobs, and distributing shoes, they strive to eliminate the suffering caused by jiggers, a detrimental parasite, and to foster healthier communities. 

Chad and Crystal Hirschi traveled to Uganda in 2019 and 2020; so, moved by this organization, Crystal Hirschi put her heart and soul into educating the public. In 2020, Crystal became the Nevada advocate, traveling all over Nevada and educating others about this debilitating sand flea, with the project of cutting out jeans pieces made from patterns that are later sent to Uganda and Africa and made into shoes.  Crystal continues to be the Nevada advocate and has cut with the help of others- thousands of shoes for those living in East Africa.

Operation Underground Railroad

O.U.R spans the globe as they assist law enforcement in rescue efforts and help to provide aftercare to all those affected by human trafficking. Hirschi has been a long-time sponsor/supporter of O.U.R. In February 2023, Crystal Hirschi had the opportunity to join O.U.R. and work with political leaders in Guatemala City. SVET serves as the secretariat for the interinstitutional commission against human trafficking.

Libertas International

Libertas actively works to fight human trafficking and child exploitation in Latin America. In 2023, Crystal Hirschi was appointed as a member of the board of directors.

Dominican Republic Children’s International Day

Crystal Hirschi and family traveled to Los Tres Brazos with a very special gift in their hands: 30 stuffed animals, which Crystal’s daughter, Victoria, and friends had made.

Upon our arrival at the center, the excited children already looked happy, eagerly awaiting their gifts. The kids had been told they would receive a gift from a sponsor, but they were not told what it would be. Seeing the luggage piqued the curiosity that can only nestle in children’s souls. As the suitcases revealed their contents, the children’s eyes lit up – their pupils smiling and shining.
